Krasina Andric

Ms. Andric holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Birkbeck College, University of London, and a Master’s degree in Preschool Pedagogy from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski.” Dialogical and tolerant, she has a sharp eye for detail and a deep understanding of the needs of parents, children, and teachers. As a leader, she strives to challenge traditional educational models by creating the right conditions for innovation and growth. She is passionate about dynamic collaborations between children, families, and educators. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time with her three children, reading historical novels, and traveling.

Milena Raycheva

Ms. Raycheva holds a degree in History with a specialization in the History of Byzantium and the Balkan Peoples from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. With more than 24 years of teaching experience, she has worked with students across all age groups from 4th to 12th grade. Positive, tolerant, and purpose-driven, she is dedicated to supporting children at every stage of their development—emotionally, cognitively, and personally. She values collaboration and strives to make history an engaging and meaningful subject for her students. Beyond the classroom, she loves to travel and explore new places. She describes herself as an avid traveller, always seeking new experiences and happily sharing her favorite destinations with others.

Evgenia Bidzheva

Ms. Boncheva-Bidzheva is the technical office manager at Azbuki Primary and Middle School. She graduated from the Hristo Nikov Secondary School and brings more than 15 years of experience in administrative work. She values the positive and collaborative school environment, as well as the shared commitment to providing the best for every child. Driven, reliable, and dedicated, she takes pride in being helpful and in seeing each task successfully completed—no matter the effort or time required. In her free time, she enjoys walking in nature and listening to relaxing music.

Ralitsa Stambolska

Ms. Stambolska graduated from New Bulgarian University in 2010 with a degree in Clinical Psychology – Psychoanalytic Perspective, and is a member of the Bulgarian Society for Lacanian Psychoanalysis (BOLP). She has extensive experience in the educational field, providing guidance and support to children and parents. Organized, attentive, and patient, she strives to create a safe and comfortable environment where children feel free to express themselves. She often incorporates art—drawing, collage, storytelling—as a creative means of communication and self-reflection. In her practice, she deeply values the individuality and uniqueness of each person she meets. In her free time, she enjoys being with her young daughter, listening to music, watching films, reading, and dancing.

Radina Mileva

Ms. Mileva graduated in Primary School Pedagogy with a Foreign Language at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" and subsequently specialized in Speech Therapy at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". She has completed additional courses and qualifications for dyslexia, dyscalculia and articulation disorders. She is distinguished by her creativity and positivity. She loves contact with every child and gets satisfaction from the small steps of progress she sees in children. She is known for creating engaging articulation stories with diverse, imaginative characters and for designing interactive games and therapy materials that make learning fun and effective. She loves to spend her free time with her loved ones, traveling and collecting postcards from the places she visits.

Ms. Angelova (Miss Dari) is the medical officer at the Azbuki School Complex. She holds a Bachelor’s degree as a Medical Specialist and a Master’s degree in Social Activities. Organized, responsible, and caring, she is known for her friendliness, calm presence, and professional approach to supporting children’s health and well-being. Every morning, she welcomes our young students with warmth, making sure they feel well and ready to fully participate in school life. She has been part of the Azbuki team since 2014. Finesse, patience, and warmth define her work with students. Her focus is on developing children’s moral qualities and supporting them as they grow into responsible, honest, and confident adolescents. She strives to create an environment where children feel valued and empowered to be their best selves. Desislava Milenkova

Ms. Milenkova has been a primary school teacher for 15 years and has joined the Azbuki School team in 2018. She is part of the authoring team behind the digital editions of the Man and Nature textbooks for 3rd and 4th grade. She has been recognized as a Microsoft Expert Educator and has represented her innovative teaching practices at four global and three European educational forums. She is also a member of the “Az Ucha” (“I Am Learning”) team. She embraces challenges with enthusiasm, celebrating each success while continually growing through new experiences. She makes her lessons dynamic and engaging by incorporating project-based learning and modern educational technologies.

Her strengths in organization, leadership, creativity, and determination support her work in the classroom every day. She believes that teaching is a profession full of challenges, but also countless rewards: “I love working with children because they are pure and noble”. Creative by nature, she enjoys everything related to handmade crafts, as well as music, books, and Bulgarian folklore. For many years, she was part of a folk dance ensemble and a vocal school for folk singing “Nusha,” which continues to inspire her love for tradition and culture.

Ms. Daleva is a Bulgarian Language and Literature teacher who has graduated in Bulgarian Philology from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. She has been part of Azbuki Primary School since 2016. She has taken part in specialized training such as creating Self-Organized Learning Environments (SOLE) and courses on classroom management and differentiated instruction. She communicates with students with ease, building strong relationships based on mutual respect and trust. She believes that for students to love a subject, they must first feel connected to the teacher. She is inspired by the joy in her students’ eyes when they succeed. Ms. Naykova holds a doctorate degree with long-term experience in lower secondary and upper secondary education. Juliana Georgieva

Ms. Georgieva is a teacher of Bulgarian Language and Literature with many years of experience in teaching and educating students. She graduated from the Bulgarian Philology Department of the Plovdiv University “Paisiy Hilendarski” and holds a qualification in Russian language, as well as an IV professional qualification degree. She believes that the true meaning of knowledge lies in the discovery and development of the individual abilities of each child. In her work, Ms. Georgieva values communicativeness, responsibility and tolerance, and her greatest inspiration is the students - their curiosity, creativity and desire for development. Ms. Georgieva is a graduate of the “Prof. Ivan Apostolov” High School of Law. Since 2008, she has been a lecturer at the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics. In addition, since 2018 she has been teaching mathematics to lower secondary students at Azbuki School.

Ms. Mateeva is a Master of Engineering and has turned to teaching after becoming a parent. In 2022, she completed a Master’s degree in Mathematics and Informatics at the same university. Ms. Mateeva currently teaches Mathematics at the junior high school level. Ms. Mihova graduated from Plovdiv University and has been teaching for 21 years. Ms. Shopova graduated in Molecular Biology from the Faculty of Biology, Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" and is currently pursuing a postgraduate qualification in English Language Teaching at the National University of Bulgaria. She previously worked at the University Botanical Garden in Sofia as the chief specialist of living plant collections.
She holds Cambridge certificates in English (FCE and CAE) and is known for her correctness, responsibility, motivation, and strong communication skills in her interactions with colleagues and students. Vladimir Tsankov

Mr. Tsankov graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Archaeology from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski." He holds two teaching qualifications: in History and Civilizations from Veliko Tarnovo University "St. Cyril and Methodius" and in Geography and Economics from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". He has been working in education for over ten years.
Daily interaction with students inspires him and through them, he has learned to be flexible, patient and to see the world through their eyes. He brings extensive experience as an archaeologist, having participated in expeditions exploring Thracian treasures and proto-Bulgarian burials.He loves sharing these experiences and intriguing facts with his students. Ms. Jovner, originally from Zimbabwe holds a Bachelor of Education from the University South Africa, has now lived and worked in Bulgaria for over 17 years . She subsequently obtained an additional qualification - a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Buckingham. As an experienced English teacher, she brings adaptability and passion for learning, creating a dynamic and supportive environment in the classroom. She prioritizes emotional well-being, encourages critical thinking and personalises lessons to meet the diverse needs of students. With strong communication skills and creativity, she makes learning both engaging and effective. Ms. Jovner finds immense joy and satisfaction in seeing her students gain confidence as they master a new language, express themselves freely or grasp new concepts. Her greatest passion is fostering a supportive and engaging environment in which students feel safe to make mistakes, ask questions and develop a love of lifelong learning. Ms. Nouraei is a PhD candidate in Contemporary Comparative Literary Studies at Sofia University. She holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of Isfahan and has extensive experience as an English teacher and lecturer. She also holds Oxford, Cambridge, and British Council certifications in teaching English as a Second Language (ESL), exam preparation, and academic English. Known for her flexibility, she adapts teaching methods to different learning styles and navigates unexpected situations in the classroom with ease. Her research experience enhances her critical thinking and creativity, which she brings to every lesson, creating a dynamic and inspiring learning environment. She finds great joy in witnessing her students’ progress—from “aha” moments when they grasp challenging concepts to the steady development of their language skills. Mr Clarkson completed his MA at Cardiff University and has many years of experience teaching English to primary school students. She graduated from the National Academy of Arts, majoring in "Ceramics", and holds a master's degree in "Artist, Teacher of Fine Arts". In her work, Yagodinka combines a love of art with pedagogical dedication and a creative approach. She believes that every child has a unique potential that can be developed through inspiration, support and creative freedom. Yagodinka is a person with many interests and creative personalities. Theodora Nikolaeva

Teodora is an inspiring music educator with extensive education and experience both in teaching and on stage. She graduated from the National Academy of Music "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov" with majors in Music Pedagogy and Sound Engineering, as well as the Secondary Music School in Stara Zagora with piano. She holds a CELTA certificate from the University of Cambridge and a qualification as an English teacher.

Before joining our team, Teodora taught music and English in various schools and colleges, including the First English High School - Sofia. In addition to teaching, she is also a freelance musician and songwriter (Teddy Velvet) with eight original songs and a debut album in preparation.

She loves inspiring children to discover the magic of music and the cultural diversity of the world. She is known for her creative approach, sense of humor and ability to turn music lessons into a real experience.

Interesting fact: between 2008 and 2011, Teodora hitchhiked over 12,000 km across Europe as a traveling musician — an adventure that inspired some of her songs.

Mr. Dimitrov graduated from the National Sports Academy “Vasil Levski” with a major in Physical Education and holds a Master’s degree in Sports for High Achievement. He coaches our basketball, handball, and athletics teams and is also a licensed ski instructor and mountain guide.

Slavcho Nuchev

Mr. Nuchev graduated from the National Sports Academy “Vasil Levski”, specializing in Physical Education, and is a certified basketball coach. Dedication, discipline, and creativity are the qualities that drive his work. He motivates his students and encourages them to believe in themselves, showing them that they can achieve anything with confidence and effort. Basketball is not only his profession but also his passion—outside of school, he serves as a basketball referee in his free time.

Anastas Kapitanov

Mr. Kapitanov completed both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the National Sports Academy “Vasil Levski”, specializing in Physical Education Teaching and Ski Coaching. In his work, he relies on a personal approach, genuinely enjoying his daily interaction with children. Volleyball is his favorite hobby, and in his free time he also enjoys watching movies. In addition to his teaching career, he serves as a volleyball referee.

Victoria Nikolaeva Laberi

Ms. Laberi graduated from the National Sports Academy “Vasil Levski” with a degree in Physical Education Teaching and Swimming Coaching. She has ten years of professional experience as an artistic swimming coach with several club teams in Greece. In her work, Ms. Laberi relies on strong organization, patience, and effective communication with children. What inspires her most is seeing the rapid progress and positive transformation in her students—a true source of professional fulfillment. In her free time, she enjoys drawing, dancing, listening to music, and practicing various sports.
