Ms. Andric holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Birkbeck College, University of London, and a Master’s degree in Preschool Pedagogy from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski.” Dialogical and tolerant, she has a sharp eye for detail and a deep understanding of the needs of parents, children, and teachers. As a leader, she strives to challenge traditional educational models by creating the right conditions for innovation and growth. She is passionate about dynamic collaborations between children, families, and educators. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time with her three children, reading historical novels, and traveling.

Ms. Raycheva holds a degree in History with a specialization in the History of Byzantium and the Balkan Peoples from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. With more than 24 years of teaching experience, she has worked with students across all age groups from 4th to 12th grade. Positive, tolerant, and purpose-driven, she is dedicated to supporting children at every stage of their development—emotionally, cognitively, and personally. She values collaboration and strives to make history an engaging and meaningful subject for her students. Beyond the classroom, she loves to travel and explore new places. She describes herself as an avid traveller, always seeking new experiences and happily sharing her favorite destinations with others.

Ms. Boncheva-Bidzheva is the technical office manager at Azbuki Primary and Middle School. She graduated from the Hristo Nikov Secondary School and brings more than 15 years of experience in administrative work. She values the positive and collaborative school environment, as well as the shared commitment to providing the best for every child. Driven, reliable, and dedicated, she takes pride in being helpful and in seeing each task successfully completed—no matter the effort or time required. In her free time, she enjoys walking in nature and listening to relaxing music.

Ms. Stambolska graduated from New Bulgarian University in 2010 with a degree in Clinical Psychology – Psychoanalytic Perspective, and is a member of the Bulgarian Society for Lacanian Psychoanalysis (BOLP). She has extensive experience in the educational field, providing guidance and support to children and parents. Organized, attentive, and patient, she strives to create a safe and comfortable environment where children feel free to express themselves. She often incorporates art—drawing, collage, storytelling—as a creative means of communication and self-reflection. In her practice, she deeply values the individuality and uniqueness of each person she meets. In her free time, she enjoys being with her young daughter, listening to music, watching films, reading, and dancing.

Ms. Mileva graduated in Primary School Pedagogy with a Foreign Language at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" and subsequently specialized in Speech Therapy at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". She has completed additional courses and qualifications for dyslexia, dyscalculia and articulation disorders. She is distinguished by her creativity and positivity. She loves contact with every child and gets satisfaction from the small steps of progress she sees in children. She is known for creating engaging articulation stories with diverse, imaginative characters and for designing interactive games and therapy materials that make learning fun and effective. She loves to spend her free time with her loved ones, traveling and collecting postcards from the places she visits.

Ms. Angelova (Miss Dari) is the medical officer at the Azbuki School Complex. She holds a Bachelor’s degree as a Medical Specialist and a Master’s degree in Social Activities. Organized, responsible, and caring, she is known for her friendliness, calm presence, and professional approach to supporting children’s health and well-being. Every morning, she welcomes our young students with warmth, making sure they feel well and ready to fully participate in school life. She has dedicated her entire professional career to working with children and believes that preserving her own playful spirit helps her build strong and natural communication with them.

Ms. Gerenska graduated in Russian Philology, Bulgarian Philology, Primary Pedagogy, and German Language – Primary School Stage at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski.” She has been an integral part of the school since its founding. Wise, creative, and graceful, she believes that a teacher is an artist, director, and storyteller—someone with a big heart who brings inspiration to every moment in the classroom. For her, teaching is a profession that beautifully weaves together everything imaginative and uplifting that she wishes to share with children. In her free time, she enjoys drawing, sewing, and writing stories, educational tales and poems.

Ms. Zlateva graduated from the Master’s program in Primary School Pedagogy at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” and has successfully completed a practical teacher training course based on the suggestopedic method for early literacy. She has been part of the Azbuki team since 2014. Finesse, patience, and warmth define her work with students. Her focus is on developing children’s moral qualities and supporting them as they grow into responsible, honest, and confident adolescents. She strives to create an environment where children feel valued and empowered to be their best selves. In her free time, she enjoys spending time in the mountains, working in her ceramic studio, visiting the countryside, and practicing yoga.

Ms. Milenkova has been a primary school teacher for 15 years and has joined the Azbuki School team in 2018. She is part of the authoring team behind the digital editions of the Man and Nature textbooks for 3rd and 4th grade. She has been recognized as a Microsoft Expert Educator and has represented her innovative teaching practices at four global and three European educational forums. She is also a member of the “Az Ucha” (“I Am Learning”) team. She embraces challenges with enthusiasm, celebrating each success while continually growing through new experiences. She makes her lessons dynamic and engaging by incorporating project-based learning and modern educational technologies.
In her free time, she enjoys writing poetry.

Ms. Pavlova is a dedicated and caring educator, known for her self-discipline, loyalty, responsiveness, and creative spirit. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Preschool and Primary School Pedagogy from South-West University “Neofit Rilski” and a Master’s degree in Preschool Education Management from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”.
Energetic and attentive, she works with both precision and warmth, always striving to support children’s development with thoughtfully crafted learning experiences. Her adaptability and strong sense of responsibility make her a valued member of the school community.

Ms. Lalova holds a Bachelor’s degree in Preschool and Primary School Pedagogy and a Master’s degree in Child, Adolescent, and School Psychology. Responsible and hardworking, she approaches her work with children with patience, dedication, and genuine care. She draws her greatest motivation from the bright, curious eyes of students eager to learn and discover the world around them. Supporting their growth brings her joy and purpose every day.

Ms. Georgieva is a dedicated teacher with many years of experience, known for her balance of high expectations and genuine care. She has a Master’s degree in Primary School Pedagogy from “St. St. Cyril and Methodius” University of Veliko Tarnovo and has achieved a Fourth Professional Qualification Degree. She has a talent for presenting even the most challenging material in a way that is engaging, clear, and accessible for every student. Her approach supports children in building confidence while developing strong academic foundations.

Ms. Ivanova graduated from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” with a degree in Primary School Pedagogy. She joined the Azbuki team in 2016, bringing many years of valuable experience in primary education.She believes deeply in the potential of every child and strives to challenge them in ways that inspire growth and confidence. With warmth and tact, she motivates her students to develop their abilities and achieve their best.

Ms. Petrova is a shining example of “tough love”. Organized, caring, and committed, she focuses both on students’ academic achievement and on helping them grow into confident and independent individuals. She graduated in Primary School Pedagogy with English Language from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski.” She sets high expectations while providing the support children need to reach them, believing that structure and encouragement go hand in hand in fostering success.

Ms. Presolska holds a Master’s degree in Primary School Pedagogy from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski,” a Master’s degree in International Project Management from ”UNWE” , and a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Entrepreneurship from “NBU”. She brings extensive experience from the international IT sector, where she managed processes and global teams, and is also the founder of a social entrepreneurship start-up. Guided by the philosophy “Think big – act in detail”, she is focused on helping students develop their potential as independent, responsible and kind individuals. Her strengths in organization, leadership, creativity, and determination support her work in the classroom every day. She loves witnessing how children discover the world and grow their abilities, viewing each school day as an opportunity to inspire and support future leaders, artists, and innovators.
In her free time, she enjoys classical ballet, Tai Chi, and creating theatrical performances.

Ms. Angelova graduated from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” with a degree in Primary and Preschool Pedagogy and holds a Master’s degree in Speech Therapy. Smiling, dedicated, and attentive to every detail, she brings warmth and humor to her work with children. She believes that teaching is a profession full of challenges, but also countless rewards: “I love working with children because they are pure and noble”. Creative by nature, she enjoys everything related to handmade crafts, as well as music, books, and Bulgarian folklore. For many years, she was part of a folk dance ensemble and a vocal school for folk singing “Nusha,” which continues to inspire her love for tradition and culture.

Ms. Gerginova holds a Bachelor’s degree in Primary School Pedagogy with French and a postgraduate qualification as an Information Technology teacher for grades 5–7, as well as competitive mathematics for grades 1–3. Patient, calm and a strong team player, she enjoys daily contact with children and colleagues and embraces the challenges that come with teaching. She is always eager to explore innovative pedagogical approaches and practices that enhance learning and student engagement. In her free time, she enjoys music, literature, and writing poetry.

Ms. Bogdanova is a Bulgarian Language and Literature teacher. She graduated in Bulgarian Philology from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” and has been dedicated to teaching since 1997. Her work is driven by her love for children, her perseverance, and her strong commitment to their success. She finds great satisfaction in her students’ achievements and growth. In her free time, she enjoys reading good books and spending time in nature.

Ms. Daleva is a Bulgarian Language and Literature teacher who has graduated in Bulgarian Philology from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. She has been part of Azbuki Primary School since 2016. She has taken part in specialized training such as creating Self-Organized Learning Environments (SOLE) and courses on classroom management and differentiated instruction. She communicates with students with ease, building strong relationships based on mutual respect and trust. She believes that for students to love a subject, they must first feel connected to the teacher. She is inspired by the joy in her students’ eyes when they succeed. Her interests include literature, history, and psychology; moreover, she enjoys singing and dancing in her free time.

Ms. Naykova holds a doctorate degree with long-term experience in lower secondary and upper secondary education. An evaluator for the National External Assessment (NEA), author of educational aids and scientific articles and a methodology specialist, she stands out for diligence and perseverance. In teaching, Ms. Naykova enjoys communicating with children, encouraging their abilities to achieve better results, sharing experience with colleagues, and creating a pleasant atmosphere for productive work where every student wants to express themselves. Her interests include dancing and travelling.

Ms. Georgieva is a teacher of Bulgarian Language and Literature with many years of experience in teaching and educating students. She graduated from the Bulgarian Philology Department of the Plovdiv University “Paisiy Hilendarski” and holds a qualification in Russian language, as well as an IV professional qualification degree. She believes that the true meaning of knowledge lies in the discovery and development of the individual abilities of each child. In her work, Ms. Georgieva values communicativeness, responsibility and tolerance, and her greatest inspiration is the students - their curiosity, creativity and desire for development. She devotes her free time to literature, reading and traveling - sources of inspiration and new ideas for work in the classroom.

Ms. Valkova graduated from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" with a degree in Physics and Mathematics. She is persistent and consistent in her work with students, and communicating with them brings her joy and meaning. She has over 20 years of experience as a teacher. In her free time, she likes to grow flowers.

Ms. Georgieva is a graduate of the “Prof. Ivan Apostolov” High School of Law. She continued her education at the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics of Sofia University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics and a Master’s degree in Probability and Statistics. Since 2008, she has been a lecturer at the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics. In addition, since 2018 she has been teaching mathematics to lower secondary students at Azbuki School.

Ms. Mateeva is a Master of Engineering and has turned to teaching after becoming a parent. She earned a Master’s degree in Primary School Pedagogy and a Fifth Qualification Degree at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski." In 2022, she completed a Master’s degree in Mathematics and Informatics at the same university. Ms. Mateeva currently teaches Mathematics at the junior high school level. In her work, she strives to be honest with her students, inspiring a love of learning and a joy for knowledge through trust, support, and care. She shares that daily communication with children touches her deeply and reinforces her belief that anything is possible. Outside of teaching, she enjoys spending time with her three children, traveling with her family, hiking in the mountains with her dog, and reading books.

Ms. Karabelska graduated in Electrical Engineering in French and holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Telecommunications in French. She also completed a
postgraduate qualification as a teacher of mathematics and computer science and has certifications in ORACLE, Java, Database SQL, and PLSQL. With six years of experience as a programmer, she brings practical expertise into her teaching. In her interactions with students, she emphasises a positive attitude and understanding. She is persistent, demanding, tolerant, while remaining warm and welcoming. She finds great joy in the emotions that arise from working with children and feels most fulfilled by their success. She takes pride in helping students feel calm and supported. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, walks in nature, off-roading and reading books.

Ms. Mihova graduated from Plovdiv University and has been teaching for 21 years. She strives to be fair and open, qualities she attributes to her zodiac sign, Libra, and believes they greatly support her work. She enjoys talking openly with her students—not just about lessons, but about life in general—and takes great satisfaction in being able to help them. Her goal is to encourage more smiles and happiness in the classroom. For relaxation, she turns to music, enjoying artists such as Eros Ramazzotti, Julio Iglesias, and Lyubo Kirov. Fun fact: she was a soloist during her high school years, showcasing her love for performance and expression.

Ms. Lyubenova graduated with a degree in Geography from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski.". She has been a teacher for over 18 years and holds a Fifth Professional Qualification degree. She is also a member of the author team for the 6th and 7th grade Geography and Economics textbooks published by Anubis Publishing House. Ms. Lyubenova approaches her work with patience, perseverance, attention and love. She holds high standards for herself and those she works with. Geography was her passion as a student and by becoming a teacher, she has fulfilled her childhood dream. She feels joy in knowing that dreams can come true—a message she strives to inspire in her students.

Ms. Shopova graduated in Molecular Biology from the Faculty of Biology, Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" and is currently pursuing a postgraduate qualification in English Language Teaching at the National University of Bulgaria. She previously worked at the University Botanical Garden in Sofia as the chief specialist of living plant collections.
She holds Cambridge certificates in English (FCE and CAE) and is known for her correctness, responsibility, motivation, and strong communication skills in her interactions with colleagues and students. She loves engaging with her students and fostering a positive learning environment. In her free time, she enjoys music and is learning to play the guitar.

Mr. Tsankov graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Archaeology from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski." He holds two teaching qualifications: in History and Civilizations from Veliko Tarnovo University "St. Cyril and Methodius" and in Geography and Economics from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". He has been working in education for over ten years.
Daily interaction with students inspires him and through them, he has learned to be flexible, patient and to see the world through their eyes. He brings extensive experience as an archaeologist, having participated in expeditions exploring Thracian treasures and proto-Bulgarian burials.He loves sharing these experiences and intriguing facts with his students. In his free time, he enjoys historical films and sports, often joining students on the football field during breaks.

Ms. Gergova graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski." For the past four years, she has been teaching Mathematics and Information Technology to students from first through twelfth grade. Prior to teaching, she worked in programming. Her strengths include patience and perseverance, which she brings to her classroom every day. She enjoys the dynamic and unique nature of her work and values every opportunity to learn, grow, and help others. In her free time, she seeks to be in nature; whether taking walks or conquering peaks. She also relaxes through folk dancing and caring for her home and garden, making the most of every moment outside the classroom.

Ms. Jovner, originally from Zimbabwe holds a Bachelor of Education from the University South Africa, has now lived and worked in Bulgaria for over 17 years . She subsequently obtained an additional qualification - a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Buckingham. As an experienced English teacher, she brings adaptability and passion for learning, creating a dynamic and supportive environment in the classroom. She prioritizes emotional well-being, encourages critical thinking and personalises lessons to meet the diverse needs of students. With strong communication skills and creativity, she makes learning both engaging and effective. Ms. Jovner finds immense joy and satisfaction in seeing her students gain confidence as they master a new language, express themselves freely or grasp new concepts. Her greatest passion is fostering a supportive and engaging environment in which students feel safe to make mistakes, ask questions and develop a love of lifelong learning. She likes to spend her free time in nature and also likes to draw.

Ms. Nouraei is a PhD candidate in Contemporary Comparative Literary Studies at Sofia University. She holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of Isfahan and has extensive experience as an English teacher and lecturer. She also holds Oxford, Cambridge, and British Council certifications in teaching English as a Second Language (ESL), exam preparation, and academic English. Known for her flexibility, she adapts teaching methods to different learning styles and navigates unexpected situations in the classroom with ease. Her research experience enhances her critical thinking and creativity, which she brings to every lesson, creating a dynamic and inspiring learning environment. She finds great joy in witnessing her students’ progress—from “aha” moments when they grasp challenging concepts to the steady development of their language skills. As an exam preparation teacher, she celebrates the proud and inspiring moments when students receive their Cambridge certificates. Deeply committed to scholarly work, she has a strong passion for poetry and creative writing. She also organizes cultural events and workshops—focused on Persian art, literature, and cuisine, or English literature and creative writing—combining her academic interests with engagement in the two cultures and languages that are close to her heart.

Mr. Beecher has 30 years of experience in education as both a director and teacher. Known for his discipline, he educates children with tact and patience. He values team spirit and takes great satisfaction in helping students develop their potential. In his free time, he enjoys practicing various sports.

Mr. Krondev graduated in Preschool Pedagogy in English Language from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" and holds a Master’s degree in Management of a Childcare Facility. Demanding yet empathetic, he has excellent skills in resolving conflicts among students and fostering a strong sense of teamwork. His work is guided by patience, professionalism, and a genuine love for children. In his free time, he enjoys sports, particularly fitness, volleyball, and reading.

A member of the Azbuki team since 2016, Mr. Neame is known for his cheerful and creative approach to teaching. With a genuine love for working with children, he easily wins their hearts while maintaining the necessary discipline and ensuring steady progress. He strives to make his classes fun and engaging, satisfying children’s curiosity and thirst for knowledge—a reward he treasures deeply. In his free time, he enjoys rugby, mountain walks, climbing, and reading.

Mr. Paget holds a BA from Manchester Metropolitan University in Manchester, UK. He has worked as a primary school teacher and has extensive experience teaching children with special educational needs and dyslexia. A member of the Azbuki team since 2016, Mr. Paget uses interactive and fun pedagogical games, along with empathetic communication, to engage students and capture their attention. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his two children and exploring new aspects of Bulgarian culture.

Mr Clarkson completed his MA at Cardiff University and has many years of experience teaching English to primary school students. He demonstrates a natural tact and understanding toward children of early school age, approaching each student with empathy when they face challenges in learning English. He values the school’s culture of mutual trust, which fosters a positive environment for both learning and teaching. In his free time, he enjoys cricket, hiking, cycling, and skiing, and finds satisfaction in restoring furniture.

Ms. Mastikova is an experienced art teacher with over 20 years in education. She graduated from the Secondary Art School for Applied Arts and later earned degrees in Preschool Pedagogy and Pedagogy of Fine Arts at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski.” Known to her students as Miss Boryana, she combines ingenuity, creative talent, and initiative, bringing a unique and inspiring atmosphere to the school. Ms. Mastikova not only inspires her students in class but also contributes to the school’s environment, creating warmth and artistic vision through thematic exhibitions, decorations, and art projects. Kind, attentive, and imaginative, she has a keen eye for detail and pours her heart into everything she does. As the head of the art department, she fosters a space where every child can express their individuality, develop their sense of beauty, and discover the joy of creativity.

Ms. Nikova holds a Master’s degree in “Design of the Children's Environment” and a professional qualification as an Artist and Art Teacher for grades 1–12 from the National Art Academy “Nikolai Pavlovich”, Sofia. Proactive, creative, and highly skilled, her love for children and art shines through in everything she does. For Ms. Nikova , every class is an opportunity to discover and nurture her students’ talents, inspiring them to create and believe in themselves. Their smiles and achievements in creative projects are her greatest reward. Beyond teaching, she lives through art—painting on canvas and silk, creating textile toys, and designing accessories. Deeply connected to Bulgarian folklore, she devotes her free time to folk dances, which she sees as an expression of identity and spirituality. Yagodinka Stilyanova Lazarova is a teacher of "Fine Arts" and "Technologies and Entrepreneurship" at the "Azbuki" Primary School, with many years of experience in working with children from the elementary stage. She graduated from the National Academy of Arts, majoring in "Ceramics", and holds a master's degree in "Artist, Teacher of Fine Arts". She continues her professional development at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" and at the New Bulgarian University, where she deepens her knowledge in the field of pedagogy and art management.
In her work, Yagodinka combines a love of art with pedagogical dedication and a creative approach. She believes that every child has a unique potential that can be developed through inspiration, support and creative freedom. Her mission is to stimulate imagination, confidence and curiosity in students, encouraging them to discover the world through art and express themselves in their own, authentic way.
Yagodinka is a person with many interests and creative personalities. She always strives to build on her knowledge and skills, learn new methods and techniques, and be inspired by meeting new people and places. Her profession naturally intertwines with her hobbies. She loves gardening, creates unique jewelry from a variety of materials, and is interested in modern, unconventional ceramic techniques and innovations in art. She is inspired by modern authors and new trends, constantly searching for fresh sources of creativity and inspiration.

Ms. Naydenova holds a Master’s degree in Music Pedagogy and a Bachelor’s degree in Musical Theater Acting, specializing in violin and piano. Her greatest strengths lie in her love for children and music, her patience, and her desire to share both her knowledge and passion for the arts with future generations. She treasures the opportunity to see the world through children’s eyes, to feel their trust and affection, and to grow together with them in knowledge and skills. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, writing short stories and poems, and exploring cinema. She dreams of one day becoming a film director.

Teodora is an inspiring music educator with extensive education and experience both in teaching and on stage. She graduated from the National Academy of Music "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov" with majors in Music Pedagogy and Sound Engineering, as well as the Secondary Music School in Stara Zagora with piano. She holds a CELTA certificate from the University of Cambridge and a qualification as an English teacher.

Before joining our team, Teodora taught music and English in various schools and colleges, including the First English High School - Sofia. In addition to teaching, she is also a freelance musician and songwriter (Teddy Velvet) with eight original songs and a debut album in preparation.

She loves inspiring children to discover the magic of music and the cultural diversity of the world. She is known for her creative approach, sense of humor and ability to turn music lessons into a real experience.

Interesting fact: between 2008 and 2011, Teodora hitchhiked over 12,000 km across Europe as a traveling musician — an adventure that inspired some of her songs.

Mr. Dimitrov graduated from the National Sports Academy “Vasil Levski” with a major in Physical Education and holds a Master’s degree in Sports for High Achievement. He coaches our basketball, handball, and athletics teams and is also a licensed ski instructor and mountain guide.

Mr. Nuchev graduated from the National Sports Academy “Vasil Levski”, specializing in Physical Education, and is a certified basketball coach. Dedication, discipline, and creativity are the qualities that drive his work. He motivates his students and encourages them to believe in themselves, showing them that they can achieve anything with confidence and effort. Basketball is not only his profession but also his passion—outside of school, he serves as a basketball referee in his free time.

Mr. Kapitanov completed both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the National Sports Academy “Vasil Levski”, specializing in Physical Education Teaching and Ski Coaching. In his work, he relies on a personal approach, genuinely enjoying his daily interaction with children. Volleyball is his favorite hobby, and in his free time he also enjoys watching movies. In addition to his teaching career, he serves as a volleyball referee.

Ms. Laberi graduated from the National Sports Academy “Vasil Levski” with a degree in Physical Education Teaching and Swimming Coaching. She has ten years of professional experience as an artistic swimming coach with several club teams in Greece. In her work, Ms. Laberi relies on strong organization, patience, and effective communication with children. What inspires her most is seeing the rapid progress and positive transformation in her students—a true source of professional fulfillment. In her free time, she enjoys drawing, dancing, listening to music, and practicing various sports.
